Berry Oatmeal

- A handful of nuts or seeds for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a gentle boil.
- Add the oats, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the mixed berries and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the berries are soft and the oatmeal is creamy.
- Remove from heat and sweeten with maple syrup or honey, if desired.
- Serve hot, topped with nuts or seeds for added crunch.
