Description

This wholesome breakfast is rich in antioxidants, fiber, and healthy fats, providing you with energy and nourishment to start your day on a positive note.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A handful of nuts or seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a gentle boil.
  • Add the oats, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well.
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the mixed berries and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the berries are soft and the oatmeal is creamy.
  • Remove from heat and sweeten with maple syrup or honey, if desired.
  • Serve hot, topped with nuts or seeds for added crunch.
