Always a classic and simple to make, these dark chocolate strawberries are not only beautiful to look at, but delicious and vegan as well.



Long stem strawberries ( or regular sized is fine)

1 cup dark non dairy chocolate chips

2 1/2 teaspoons coconut oil


On a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, set out your strawberries ( depending on how big the berries are , this chocolate will coat about 6 to 8 large strawberries.

Melt the oil and chocolate at short intervals in the microwave and stir until is smooth and shiny.  Let cool slightly.

Make sure the strawberries are completely dry and dip into the  chocolate. Swirl until all sides are coated.

Lay as vertical as you can onto the parchment paper.  Once all of the chocolate is gone or until desired strawberries are coated, chill them in the refridgerator.

Keep chilled until ready to serve.
